I’m a Master of Fine Art student at The Academy of Fine Art in Trondheim, Norway*. I combine my love of art, nature, community, and learning from knowledge-holders. Read about my first semester here. Follow links to my second and third semesters.
My artwork marries science, sustainability, and stewardship. I show Earth’s natural diversity, and I present humans as one small part of inter-connected life. I combine comics, watercolour, and ink in a style I call simple complexity.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Art from University Wisconsin-Madison. I’ve designed and installed gardens and kitchens, been a portrait and nature photographer, and pivoted from graphic design to illustration.
I am a Mentee under Creature Conserve’s Mentorship Program from October 2025 to March 2026. Learn about my mentorship journey.
I’m outside as much as possible. I love living life slowly, noticing the details, and enjoying good food with friends. I’m married to a wonderful man, and we’re navigating life together after stroke.
